2. Our legal bases

We use your data to perform our contract with you (running the game and delivering purchases), for our legitimate interests (security, fair play, fixing bugs, improving the game), with your consent (personalised ads, push notifications, optional sign-in) and to meet legal obligations (tax and accounting records). You can withdraw consent at any time in the game’s Settings or your device settings.

3. Advertising

Ludo Bloom shows ads through Google AdMob. When you first open the game we ask for your consent using Google’s consent tool (in the UK, EEA and Switzerland) and, on iOS, Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you say no, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised. You can change your choice at any time from Settings → Privacy in the game. Google’s use of data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it for us under contract:

Other players see your display name, avatar, level, country flag, stats and the quick chat you send. We may also disclose data if the law requires it or to protect our users and services.

5. International transfers

Some providers process data outside the UK, for example in the United States. Where they do, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK–US data bridge.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account is active. If you delete your account we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except purchase records, which we must keep for up to 6 years for tax purposes. Guest accounts that have not been opened for 24 months are deleted. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent. You can download your data and delete your account yourself in the game under Settings → Account, or email us. We reply within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or your local data protection authority.

US residents: we do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising except through personalised ads you can turn off in Settings → Privacy.

8. Children

Ludo Bloom is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email us and we will delete it.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to our database is restricted by role and row-level rules, and game results are decided on our servers. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us at once if you think your account has been misused.

10. Third-party services

Apple, Google, Meta, Expo and other providers process data under their own privacy policies and are responsible for their own practices. We are not responsible for how third parties you choose to connect with (for example by logging in with them) use your data.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and we will tell you in the game if the change is significant.
