Terms of Use
Last updated: 8 November 2026
Please read these terms carefully. By downloading, installing, opening or using the Ludo Bloom app, or by using ludobloom.app (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is provided by MR DIGITAL VENTURES LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (“we”, “us”, “our”). “You” means the person using the Service. If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and where it conflicts with these terms these terms take priority to the extent allowed by Apple.
1. Who can use the Service
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or guardian has read and agreed to these terms for you and is responsible for your use of the Service and any purchases. You confirm that the information you give us is true and that using the Service is lawful where you live. You are solely responsible for complying with the laws of your country.
2. Your account and your responsibilities
- You are responsible for everything that happens on your account and device, including purchases, whether or not you authorised them. Keep your device and login secure and use your device’s purchase protections (such as a password or parental controls).
- Guest accounts are stored against your device. If you delete the app, reset or lose your device, or do not log in with Apple, Google or Facebook, your progress, currency and purchases may be lost permanently and we are not obliged to restore them.
- You are responsible for your internet connection, data charges, device, and any third-party account you use to log in.
- You must not use the Service in any way that is unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive or that infringes anyone else’s rights.
3. Licence
We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to use the Service for your own private, non-commercial entertainment, in line with these terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by us. You do not own the Service or any part of it.
4. Virtual currency and items
- Coins, gems, boards, tokens, dice, frames, boosters and any other virtual items (“Virtual Items”) are a limited licence to use content within the Service only. You do not own them and they are not your property.
- Virtual Items have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed, cashed out, refunded, sold, traded, gifted outside features we provide, or transferred, and can never be exchanged for real money, goods or anything of value. The Service is not gambling: you cannot win money or prizes of real-world value.
- We may manage, regulate, change, rebalance or remove Virtual Items, prices and rewards at any time. Virtual Items are forfeited if your account is closed, deleted or suspended for breach of these terms, or if the Service ends, and you will not be compensated except where the law requires it.
- Any attempt to buy, sell or trade Virtual Items or accounts outside the Service is a breach of these terms.
5. Purchases
All purchases are made through Apple or Google and are subject to their terms, payment processing and refund policies; we do not see or store your payment details. Prices may change. Purchases are final and non-refundable except where the law or the store’s policy requires otherwise. Because digital content is supplied immediately, you expressly request immediate supply and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once supply has begun. If you request a chargeback or receive a refund, we may remove the Virtual Items purchased (and any items obtained with them) and may suspend the account. If a purchase is not delivered, contact support@ludobloom.app; our only obligation is to deliver the item or, if we cannot, to refund the price.
6. Fair play and conduct
You must not: cheat; use bots, scripts, macros, modified or unofficial clients, emulators intended to gain an advantage, or third-party software that interacts with the Service; exploit bugs (report them to us instead); collude, deliberately lose or “farm” rewards; create multiple accounts to abuse rewards; reverse engineer, decompile, scrape or interfere with the Service or its servers; impersonate anyone; post or send anything offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening, defamatory or unlawful; harass other players; or advertise or spam. Dice results are generated by our servers and are final. Computer-controlled players are labelled.
We may, at our sole discretion and without notice or liability, investigate, warn, mute, remove Virtual Items or progress, reset statistics, suspend or permanently ban any account or device we reasonably believe has broken these terms.
7. Content you send
You are solely responsible for anything you submit (including your display name, avatar choices, quick chat, reports and messages to us). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable licence to use, store, display and process that content to operate, improve and promote the Service. We may remove any content at any time. We do not endorse and are not responsible for content created by other players.
8. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, code, graphics, artwork, boards, tokens, characters, animations, sounds, music, text, user interface, and the names and logos “Ludo Bloom” and the Ludo Bloom flower logo, are owned by or licensed to MR DIGITAL VENTURES LTD and are protected by copyright, trade mark, design and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, create derivative works from, or exploit any part of the Service without our written permission.
Ludo is a traditional board game in the public domain. Ludo Bloom is an independent game developed by MR DIGITAL VENTURES LTD. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any other company, game or app. All third-party names and trade marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify their products.
Intellectual property complaints: if you believe anything in the Service infringes your rights, email support@ludobloom.app with details of the work, where it appears, your contact details and a statement that your complaint is accurate and made in good faith. We will investigate and remove material where appropriate.
9. Ads and third-party services
The Service shows advertising and may let you log in with or link to third-party services (such as Apple, Google, Facebook and AdMob). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, adverts, products, websites or their content, availability or privacy practices. Your dealings with them are solely between you and them, at your own risk.
10. The Service is provided “as is”
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service, all content and Virtual Items are provided “as is” and “as available”, with all faults and without any warranty, guarantee, condition or representation of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted or error-free operation, accuracy, security, or that the Service will meet your expectations or be compatible with your device. Online play depends on networks and other players; we do not guarantee matches, connection quality, match outcomes or the behaviour of other players. You use the Service at your own risk.
11. Limitation of our liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss or damage; any loss of profits, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, data, progress or Virtual Items; or any loss caused by your device, connection, other players, third-party services, viruses, events outside our reasonable control, or your breach of these terms;
- our total liability to you for all claims of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Service or these terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and (b) £20.
Your statutory rights. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have legal rights in relation to digital content that is faulty or not as described, and nothing in these terms affects those rights.
12. Your responsibility to us (indemnity)
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless MR DIGITAL VENTURES LTD, its directors, officers, employees and contractors from and against all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) brought by any third party arising out of or in connection with your breach of these terms, your misuse of the Service, the content you submit, or your infringement of any law or the rights of any other person.
13. Changes, suspension and ending the Service
We may change, update, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, these terms, prices or features at any time. Material changes to these terms will be notified in the app or on this page, and continuing to use the Service after that means you accept them. If we close the Service permanently we will give at least 30 days’ notice in the app. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings → Account or at ludobloom.app/delete-account. Sections 4, 7, 8 and 10–17 survive the end of these terms.
14. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for any delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including outages of networks, hosting, app stores or third-party services, cyber attacks, power failures, natural events, war, strikes or government action.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes) arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer living in Scotland, Northern Ireland or the EU you may also bring proceedings in your local courts and you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country. Before starting any claim, you agree to contact support@ludobloom.app and try to resolve the issue with us informally for at least 30 days.
If you live in the United States: you and we agree that any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. You and we waive any right to a jury trial and to bring or take part in any class, collective or representative action. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@ludobloom.app within 30 days of first accepting these terms.
16. General
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent needed or removed, and the rest will remain in force. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to another organisation. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any in-app rules, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. No one else has rights to enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999, except that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms for iOS users and may enforce them.
17. Website
These terms also apply to your use of ludobloom.app. By browsing the website you accept these terms. The website is provided for general information only and may change without notice.
